Library Programs

Hands On Science Programs For Libraries NCEngage and entertain library visitors with our fun and educational hands-on science programs. Our museum-based science programs can be geared for all ages including preschool, elementary, teens and the whole family. We also can accommodate small and large groups. Best of all, we are available year round and can tailor our programs to your seasonal summer reading theme. It is like having a museum visit your library!

Select any one of our science programs and enjoy a unique and memorable experience for your library visitors. All of our programs have live animals that library visitors can touch. In previous programs, librarians have placed science library books on display in our room and had all the books checked out by the end of our program. What a great way to get children interested in science and reading!

What library visitors are saying about our hands-on animal programs for kids:

“Terrific program, elementary kids need more programs like this.”

“My child learned new vocabulary!”

“Great hands-on program with animals we normally do not interact with.”

“Thank you! Fabulous program.”

Library Guidelines

1. All we need from you is a room that can be darkened for slide viewing and at least 2 - 4 tables to display hands-on artifacts.

2. We bring our own power point presentation equipment and screen.

3. We bring hand sanitizer so everyone can clean up after touching animals.

4. Please allow one hour to set-up the room and another hour to break it down.

5. A parking space close to the program site is preferred for ease in unloading and loading our equipment.

6. Parents are encouraged to stay with their children.
